Trying..

For the past few days..I have tried and tried again to post something...when this simple thought came to my head, "Just try and you will get farther than before." That little thought triggered an entire stream of thoughts into my head. Mostly about how far I have come in life and about how much progress i have made this year..

I cannot believe it is only 17 days until my 15th birthday..I remember thinking when i was 10 "In 5 years i can drive a car." Now i am. I cannot believe that whatever you set your mind to can happen. It is amazing. I have had dreams that of course, as anything does, happen. I just try. I try as hard as humanly possible to be the absolute best i can be. Some days it is easier than others, but in the end it just depends on the strength you are putting into it.

When you try for something, you are making the commitment to work for it. To not give up. To be something bigger than yourself. Not many people follow through anymore and it is a shame. We always try to say that we promise to do something but in reality..it is nothing without effort and trying.

Now don't go out and try to carry the world on your shoulders. Don't try to over work yourself into doing something you physically cannot do..It's all just effort.

So all-in-all..it's all about trying..Right?

Searching, Seeking, Reaching, Always- We Came as Romans.

So if we keep seeking out what is right,
moving on after being set back,
searching out what keeps us strong.
Searching out, and always building up the things that we lack.
This path we choose is not the easiest to walk upon
And knowing that I am more eager to continue on
because I know that when I reach the end
I'll be better than before

Life..Life is beautiful..

Life is precious. One of the greatest things anyone can have is life. When you have life, you have the chance to be anyone. You can be anything you set your eyes on. The more you dream, the better chance you have to make it. Never give up on anything. Life can be given to anyone so easy and when you are born, you are born with the will power to be anything. To do anything. To change, anything you want.

When people feel like they cannot do this, they turn to drugs, alcohol, self abuse and suicide. People feel like they have nothing and have nowhere to turn except out. Out is never a good choice. Would you rather feel pain or have 100's of people hurt for you. You have the chance to fix it, once you are gone..they have no choice..no chance. Everyday kids go through abuse or bullying and decide to end it. Everyday there is a funeral for someone who couldn't do it anymore.

Life is to precious to end. Always be on your toe's and never forget that in time, all things can pass.

Music...=)

Music is...my life line. When all my friends fail me or let me down, music will always be there for me to come to. Music has a power like nothing else on this planet. Music can make you feel emotion like other things can't. I will have some of the best days just walking around with my iPod in my ear. I can almost complete any task better with music. I, in general, enjoy all music. When people say that, they usually say except ___ and ___. Well I am not like that. I have favorite types of music but nothing I refuse to hear. Music is art and art can never be wrong.

I enjoy music with positive lyrics. Many people stereotype the music I listen to into being bad or satanic. When in fact this music has some of the most positive messages I have ever listened to. Some of my favorite bands are: We came as romans, A day to remember, August Burns Red, Of Mice & Men, Muse, Paramore, Flyleaf, Silversun Pickups, Nevershoutnever, Royal Bliss, Linkin Park, Attack Attack, Bullet for my Valentine, A Skylit Drive, Asking Alexandria, Kings of Leon, Hey Monday, Escape the Fate and Bring me the horizon. Now that honestly is just a taste of the music I listen to everyday. Music is like air to me. No matter what music you listen to or how you enjoy it, music has a purpose for everyone.

I challenge you to go find some new music and read up on the lyrics. Don't judge a book by it's cover, don't judge a band by it's name.

Why are we here?

I decided to start a blog. Obviously right? I wanted a way to show the world my point of view on, well...whatever I feel like. I think most teenagers have low self esteem and low self concept because they don't relate to anyone. If one person has a positive experience because of me, I think my mission is complete. I have an ever growing wonder for life, music, purpose, religion, school, sports, history, technology, clothes, peace, love, and happiness. I want to be able to discuss all of that on here. So walk with me, and see what my eyes have seen.
