Charity. I dig it. (11.8)

I am begging to struggle with topics, but I am starting to get great feedback, and people are giving me suggestions. Without your help, my views are nothing. I appreciate it.

How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world.  ~Anne Frank

Alright, Charity. I am sure we have ALL done something that is some what generous. By participating in these charities, you are doing not only good for someone else, but something you can only feel in yourself, when you do it. Their is no way to describe that feeling. It's like nothing you can explain. Being generous, proves that you are not ignorant. Not only not ignorant to peoples feelings, but not ignorant to what the world needs, and what it is missing out on.

Just befriending someone is a type of charity. You can only give so much, but the most simple act of friendship, is something that can never be lost. It is something that you have the opportunity to give every single day. Although a conscious decision to be nice, it is easy. So, I challenge you to be friendly.

I participated in a charity today. My school is asking for donations, to help save kids with Polio. By just donating 1 dollar, you helped 2 kids with the life threatening illness. Then, in return, you got to wear a purple string on your pinkie. That feeling of someone asking you, why you have that on your finger, and then getting to explain to them what a good cause it is for, is such a great feeling.

My, amazing friend Kendra Larsen, ate at a restaurant  this evening. The concept of this restaurant was extremely interesting. For every meal you buy, they donate a meal to children in Malawi. By fulfilling our most basic need, you are helping to do the same, for someone who gets to eat, much less often, and needs it more. That is true generosity. Technically charity is defined as giving and not receiving in return, but i believe we should be willing to do it, with or without reward. Also, another TOMS SHOES, for every pair you buy, a child in need receives a pair, just like you. How wonderful is that.

So I challenge you. Be generous. Put out, for someone in need.

Beliefs - We Came as Romans <3
With an effort so constrained, this is venom in my veins
created, cured by the same,
by the same.
I've chosen selfless over selfishness,
I've left a bed of disgust and unrest.

I plead to change my life, just before I dream
and wake to realize that change is inside me.
